Alpha-1 Awareness Month

November is Alpha-1 Awareness Month and during this time, the Alpha-1 Foundation launches the #Alpha1Awareness campaign to increase awareness of Alpha-1 while also raising funds to improve the lives of those affected by this rare disease.
This year’s theme is “Let’s Cure It.” Our mission is to find a cure for Alpha-1, but we can’t do it without the community’s support! So, we invite everyone to help raise #Alpha1Awareness on social media, get involved in fundraising, and participate in research.
We also encourage you to download our free Alpha-1 Awareness resources, such as the digital and print toolkits, and register for upcoming events including the Alpha-1 Virtual Walk 2022 and the Bethesda Hybrid Alpha-1 Education Day.
