Thank you for registering and joining the first day of the 2021 Virtual Alpha-1 National Conference. Today we were joined by Alphas, friends, family and industry partners for an exciting day on our NEW virtual conference platform.
The multitrack agenda allowed all participants learn something new. Not only did we welcome first time attendees to the conference, but also to the Alpha-1 community. We hope that you had an opportunity to visit the various booths in the exhibit hall and chat with the Alpha-1 staff and industry representatives. Thank you to Dr. Robert “Sandy” Sandhaus, Clinical Director of the Alpha-1 Foundation and Senior Medical Director of the AlphaNet for updating the community on COVID-19 and what it means for those with Alpha-1. Later in the afternoon, Loretta LaRoche, Renowned Humorist, Stress Management Expert and Star of Emmy-Winning PBS Specials taught us how to Stress Less with Humor and Optimism.
In line with this year’s theme “All In for Alpha-1”, which stands for Attitude, Leadership, Legacy, Improvement, and New Beginnings, we want to show you that the Alpha-1 Foundation is all in when it comes to helping the Alpha-1 community. If you are a first time attendee, this is a new beginning… By being here today, you took the first step in being “All in for Alpha-1”. For veteran conference attendees, we thank for your continued support and participation.
