June 9, 2022- Day two of the Hybrid Alpha-1 National Conference was a great day of interaction, education and community! We joined together throughout the platform to learn about new ways to get involved in the Foundation’s programs, including the research registry, fundraising, advocacy, support groups and much more!
The exhibit booths provided an enormous amount of information for you to takeaway in your briefcase. Don’t forget to go through all the rooms to get materials to read, share with family and your physicians!
Thank you to Grifols for starting our day with some wonderful live entertainment from American country music singer Julie Roberts. She has over 1 million records sold on her first two albums alone and has a Billboard Top 20 country hit titled “Break Down Here.”
Thank you to Takeda and Shannon Miller, Seven Time Olympic Medalist Gymnast, Women’s Health and Fitness Expert and Cancer Survivor for the keynote presentation “Gold Medal Mindset”. She was inspirational and encouraged all of us to always remember that we have a team behind each of us no matter what the circumstance. If you missed the presentation, you can still view it in the auditorium at any time.

The day concluded with the annual Angel Angels Memorial Service on Zoom where the community joined together to remember those that we have lost and work hard in their memory each and every day.
