Virtual Alpha-1 Education Day
Saturday, February 27th
The first Alpha-1 Education Day of the year will feature Alpha-1 experts from the Northwest region of the country. The morning coffee social will highlight local Alpha-1 Support Groups and introduce attendees to the local Support Group Leaders and AlphaNet Coordinators.
The day will include topics of interest to the entire Alpha-1 community and feature a special focus on Rare Disease Day, which takes place on Sunday, February 28th this year. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients’ lives. Rare Disease Day takes place on the last day of February each year.
We invite all Alphas, family members, caregivers, friends, and healthcare providers, such as infusion nurses, doctors, and respiratory therapists, to attend this virtual event on the latest Alpha-1 topics. Learn about Alpha-1 lung and liver disease, new and upcoming research, and more.
All persons who are employed by an industry company must register to attend as an exhibitor even if they will not be participating in the exhibit booth, including MSLs and healthcare providers. To register as an exhibitor, please contact Angela McBride at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to our Alpha-1 Education Day Series sponsors!
