VIRTUAL CHALLENGE: We are asking that Alpha-1 friends and family bike (foot pedal or stationary bike) 100 miles (or what you can) during the month of September to help raise funds and awareness for Alpha-1. We will stay connected using #Alpha1RidingforaReason on social media and weekly Zoom calls!

IN-PERSON: Join Team Alpha-1 for a one or two day bike ride in Cape Cod, MA. We are looking for riders and volunteers for the weekend to help us cross the finish line! Riders will enjoy 50 or 100 mile bike ride throughout the lovely coast and dunes of of the Cape. This is a fun weekend filled with the Alpha-1 Community cheering each other on and raising funds and awareness for the cure. This event is open to the public and subject to change following guidelines from the American Lung Association Guidelines and Alpha-1 Foundation Covid-19 Grid.

Here’s how to join online:

1. Sign Up

Click here to register online. You can Start a Team or Join a Team.

Start a Team: I want to start a Team, become a Team Captain and help collect donations from friends and family.
Join a Team: I want to join an existing Team and help collect donations from friends and family.
Register as an Individual: I want to join as an individual participant, not linked to a Team, and help collect donations from friends and family.

2. Create Your Online Fundraising Page

You will automatically get a fully customizable, personal fundraising page where you can collect donations. You can link this page to your social media pages to make collecting donations easier than ever.

3. Spread the Word

Then you can send emails to your friends and family through your Participant Center. The emails will provide a direct link to your personal fundraising page where your friends and family can make a donation on your behalf. Use #Alpha1RidingforaReason to share your pictures!
