The Alpha-1 National Education Day Series provides access to current medical information and resources for Alphas and their families and are held in a variety of regions in the US. All Education Days are free for patients and attendees.

At a Glance
The first Alpha-1 Education Day of the year will feature Alpha-1 experts from the Northwest region of the country. The morning coffee social will highlight local Alpha-1 Support Groups and introduce attendees to the local Support Group Leaders and AlphaNet Coordinators.
The day will include topics of interest to the entire Alpha-1 community and feature a special focus on Rare Disease Day, which takes place on Sunday, February 28th this year.

These Alpha-1 Education Day learning activities have been approved by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for 6 hours of Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE).
The Alpha-1 Foundation’s Oxygen Travel Fund provides oxygen and equipment for Alphas in financial need to travel to Alpha-1 educational events. To apply, call 877-228-7321 ext 251 with at least 30 days notice.
