June 8, 2022- Today kicked off the first day of the 2022 Hybrid Alpha-1 National Conference. We were joined by Alphas, friends, family, doctors, researchers and industry partners to kick off the conference on our NEW virtual conference platform.
Attendees had an opportunity to watch the On-Demand sessions in advance of the conference kickoff, visit the various booths in the exhibit hall and chat with the Alpha-1 staff and industry representatives. Resources were made available throughout the platform to include in the briefcase feature and download before leaving the platform.
The conference started with a video featuring Alpha-1 President & CEO Scott Santarella and enthusiastic Alphas encouraging the community to get involved! Our outstanding physician leadership including Dr. Robert “Sandy” Sandhaus, Dr. Jeanine D’Armiento and Dr. Stephen Rennard for the “Alpha-1: Clinical Trials & Drug Development, Alpha-1 Research Registry and Therapeutic Development Network (TDN)” session moderated by Alpha, Richard Lovrich.
