For the Ask-A-Doc section in the upcoming edition of the Association's Alpha-1 News quarterly newsletter, we would like to develop some questions with input from the Alpha-1 Community. To submit a question for this section in the next edition, please contact Genevieve Paul at gpaul@alpha1.org.
Scholarship Opportunity
Educational scholarships are now being accepted from Alphas and their immediate family who demonstrate financial need and who has been accepted for study at an approved institution.
Applications must be submitted by March 15, 2012.

2012 Hope Quilt
One simple way to create awareness is to submit a square patch for the Alpha-1 Hope Quilt. This quilt will be both showcased and raffled off at the 21st Annual National Education Conference in Seattle, Washington June 8-10, 2012. Deadline for submission is April 1, 2012.

The Association's Nominating and Governance Committee is seeking nominations from its membership of candidates for election to the Board of Directors in its 2012 spring election. Candidates are invited to complete a Nomination Package by February 10, 2012 expressing their interest. Click here for the Nomination Package.
