Dr. Kyle Hogarth is Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Chicago. He is an expert in pulmonary diseases--including interstitial lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis) and sarcoidosis. He is also involved with the minimally invasive diagnosis and staging of lung cancer through bronchoscopy. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Pulmonary Diseases. He attended medical school at CAse Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his residency and fellowship at University of Chicago Hospitals.
His research focuses on improving quality of life and outcomes for patients with all forms of interstitial lung disease and lung cancer. Dr. Hogarth is especially interested in studying sarcoidosis and non-small cell lung cancer.
In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Hogarth is a manuscript reviewer for Chest--The Journal of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Swiss Medical Weekly.
